We are coming up on the season of giving, and if there was ever a reason to start early, it would be to support the good work of The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
A 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established to honor the sacrifice of Stephen Siller, an FDNY firefighter who selflessly laid down his life in order to save others on September 11, 2001. The foundation honors the late hero by supporting America’s first responders and veterans and their families. To date, they have given $250 million in aid to the members of our community who sacrifice it all to protect their fellow Americans.
In order to continue on their mission, Tunnel to Towers relies on community support. Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey and Dough Doughnuts is answering that call, collaborating on special-edition doughnuts and cocktail recipes in celebration of National First Responders Day. A portion of proceeds from all Proper Irish Coffee Doughnut sales will go to the world-renowned organization to help pay the mortgages for families of law enforcement officers and firefighters across the country killed in the line of duty. Tunnel to Towers meets honor with honor, with a score of 100 for Accountability & Transparency on Charity Navigator.

We first began working with Conor and the team in March 2020 and have remained loyal partners ever since. We couldn’t be more honored to work with them again on this campaign — our most delicious one yet.”
Proper No. Twelve® Irish Whiskey, founded by multiple weight MMA champion Conor McGregor, has a long history of supporting The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, having donated $1.9 million to the organization to date. With this newest promotion, they are hoping to increase that sum even more.
The charitable promotion will be running through the rest of October, concluding on National First Responders Day on October 28. Dough’s retail locations can be found throughout New York City and even nationwide through Dough’s website.

The Proper Irish Coffee Cream-Filled Doughnut: A classic yeast doughnut filled with Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey-infused buttercream and a hint of vanilla, complementing the whiskey’s natural vanilla & honey notes, rolled in orange sugar. The sugar dusting and cream filling are reminiscent of the cream in the Proper Irish Coffee coffee recipe.
The Proper Irish Coffee Glazed Doughnut: A traditional yeast doughnut covered in a Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey-infused cold brew coffee glaze. Made with Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, cold brew extract and sugar, the combination enhances Proper No. Twelve’s notes of vanilla, honey and toasted wood. This doughnut pairs well with a Proper Irish Coffee cocktail.
